Vad skulle hända om världens sista människa var en cirkusartist?
Kom och upplev en cirkusfabel där den sista människan på jorden manipulerar folie, ljus, ljud, former och rörelse. En hypnotisk och meditativ upplevelse för hela familjen.

MULTIVERSE är en cirkusfabel, en värld av ljus, ljud och ting som flyter och dansar, skapar figurer lika mäktiga jättar. Vartefter som föreställningen vecklar ut sig, fylls ringen av bilder av planetkonstellationer, mineraler, elementär organisk skönhet och förstörelse, födelse och förintelse: ett universum som skapar och försvinner i och ur sig själv. Multiverse är en poetisk cirkusgest som hoppas på och söker nya former och tankerörelser vid framtidshorisonten.
Multiverse är en del av SKH Doktorand projektet ” Circus as Practices of Hope” och en del av ”Nomadic Circus gallery” med stöd från Stockholm Stad och Kulturrådet. I samarbete med Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola- SKH, Kristofferskolan, Kristofferscenen och Gävle Konstcentrum.
Marie-Andrée Robitaille arbetar tvärvetenskapligt som cirkusartist med bakgrund inom samtida dans och cirkuskonst. Hon är för närvarande doktorand i performativa och mediebaserade praktiker i koreografi vid Stockholms konsthögskola (SKH). På SKH var hon biträdande professor och chef för kandidatprogrammet i Cirkus (2009-2018) där hon genomförde en rad konstnärliga forskningsprojekt som utforskade feministiska strategier och alternativa kompositionssätt inom cirkuskonst.
CirkusPerspektiv är ett produktionsbolag med säte i Stockholm. CP-produktioner inkluderar Gynoïdes Project, Nordic Women in Circus Network, Nordic Innovative Juggling, Women in Circus Consortiums, Nomadic Circus Gallery och Multiverse.

What would happen if the last human on Earth is a circus artist?
Come and experience a circus fable where the last human on Earth plays with foil, lights, sounds, forms and motion. An hypnotic and meditative experience for all the family.

MULTIVERSE invites to a circus fable, a world of light, sounds and matters flowing, spiralling and shaping like gentle giants. As the performance unravels, the ring fills with images of planetary constellations, minerals, elemental-biological ecological beauty and devastation, life and extinction; a universe folding and unfolding in and out of itself. Multiverse is a circus poetic gesture of hope, an artist journey within the infrathin where new forms and movements of thoughts may rise up at the horizon.
MULTIVERSE is a part of the Doctoral Project ”Circus as Practices of Hope ».

Marie-Andrée Robitaille is working un-disciplinary with a background in contemporary dance and circus arts. She is currently a doctoral candidate in performative and media-based practices in choreography at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH). At SKH, she was assistant professor and head of the Bachelor program in Circus (2009-2018) where she conducted a series of artistic research projects which explored feminist strategies and alternative modes of composition in circus arts.
CirkusPerspektiv is a production company based in Stockholm. CirkusPerspektiv productions include Gynoïdes Project, Nordic Women in Circus Network, Nordic Innovative Juggling, Women in Circus Consortium, Nomadic Circus Gallery and Multiverse.
