I am [no]mad
Nu välkomnar Kristofferscenen med glädje cirkusartisten Marina Rieger i vårt sommar-residensprogram!
Marina kommer att nyttja residenstiden till utveckling av ett projekt med arbetstiteln ”I am [no]mad”, den nyaste och senaste produktionen från kollektivet Strapmania.
Marina: ” Projektet relaterar till våra erfarenheter av att vara bundna till varandra och ger utrymme för hur vi tänkte var och en för sig och hur vi hanterade att att vara fast på en plats utan att kunna röra oss fritt. Undersökningarna siktar på att skapa mer material för nya presentationer av ”I am [NOmad]”- för hösten 2021.”
Strapmaniakollektivet är en internationell grupp bestående av luftakrobater och bildkonstnärer från Berlin & Köpenhamn med starka band till cirkusarbete och liv i Sverige.
Strapmaniakollektivet stöds av Kreativ-Transfer och Tysklands departement för Kultur och Media.
Sommarresidens på Kristofferscenen möjliggörs med stöd från:
Stockholm stad Kultur, Region Stockholm och Statens Kulturråd i samverkan med Kristofferskolan och CirkusPerspektiv.

I am [no]mad

This week at Kristofferscenen, we are happy to welcome circus artist Marina Rieger as part of the summer artist-in-residency program.
During the residency Marina will be developing the project ”I am [no]mad” (working title) which is the newest research production by strapmania collective.
She says: ”The project is relating to our experiences of confinement and gives a platform to the thoughts we kept for us and how we dealt with being stuck in a place, not allowed to move around freely. The research is thought to provide further material for the new performance ”I am [NOmad]”- upcoming 2021.”
Strapmania collective is an international arts collective composed of aerialists and visual artists based in Berlin and Copenhagen and closely tied to circus arts in Sweden.
Strapmania Collective is supported by Kreativ-Transfer and funded by German Ministry of Culture and the Media.
This summer artist-in-residency program at Kristofferscenen has been made possible with the support of Stockholm City, Stockholm Region and Swedish Art Council in close collaboration with Kristofferscenen and CirkusPerspektiv.
